At Remembrance Community Church, our children’s ministry exists to passionately point kids to Jesus

We believe that kids love church because the church loves kids and at RCC, we love our kids! We desire to come alongside parents and support your child's faith journey each week as we have fun and learn about Jesus together. Each class is filled with age-appropriate activities including games, crafts, Bible lessons and a whole lot of fun! We also enjoy a small snack, while being mindful of any allergies. Our desire is to plant seeds and grow connections so our children feel loved by their entire church community.

Our Classes

  • Nursery

    Ages 0 - 2 years

We have a team that is passionate about giving babies all the love and attention they need at this exciting stage! We have a safe environment with age appropriate toys for free play as well as a time of music just for them. New parents are welcome to stick around to help their babies feel comfortable for as long as is helpful.

  • Toddlers/Pre-K

    Ages 2 - 5

Our toddler class is full of energy and our team is here for it! Led by caring volunteers, our sessions incorporate simple songs, interactive stories, and age-appropriate activities to introduce toddlers to basic biblical concepts. Through play and exploration, toddlers learn about God's love and the world around them in a way that's engaging and fun!

  • K - 3rd Grade

Our K-3rd grade class is where the action is! Through interactive storytelling, engaging activities, and lively songs, children learn biblical lessons in a fun and accessible way. Dedicated volunteers lead the classes, fostering a sense of community and belonging among the young participants. Crafts and games reinforce the day's message, encouraging children to apply their learning creatively.

  • 4th - 6th Grade

Our 4th to 6th graders are growing up! And we want to help them grow towards Jesus. This class begins their time in worship with their families before being dismissed to their class for a dynamic and engaging lesson tailored to their age group. After the lesson, children rejoin their families for the closing worship, fostering a sense of community and unity within the church.

Pick Up

Toddler - 3rd Grade

Check In: Follow the signs for RCC Kids and you'll find a check in table where a teacher will be waiting to greet the children and help you check them in. You’ll receive a colored pass upon check in that will be required to pick up your child after service. To ensure the saftey of our kids and volunteers, the Kids zone is closed once opening worship ends but a member of our Look Out Team will be out front and able to help you get in if you arrive late.

Pick Up: For pick up, you’ll go back to your child’s class the same way you got there for drop off and return the colored card to receive your child. A teacher will be waiting at the check out table to assist you. Children must be signed out before leaving the classroom.

4th - 6th Grade

Check In: We love having our 4th - 6th graders begin by joining us for worship inside the auditorium. When we dismiss the larger congregation for Meet & Greet, the 4th - 6th graders will be instructed to go with their teachers to their class. If this is your first time, you can go with them to sign them in.

Pick Up: Your child will rejoin the larger congregation for closing worship and communion after their lesson. Their teacher will ensure they find their parents.

Classrooms

Class sizes will be 12 kids or less with 2 to 3 volunteers in each classroom. All team members for childrens ministry wear a red lanyard for easy identification and safety and have been background checked. They also attend training before being able to be in the classrooms with the children.

Safety

We want to provide a safe and welcoming environment for both the parents and children. To help us achieve that we have some safety protocols in place for all age groups. If your child has any cold or flu like symptoms such as fever, runny nose, cough etc. please wait 48 hours until symptoms have cleared up before returning to childrens ministry.
